Plaster Walls Could Make a Dashing Comeback

According to professional home builders and interior designers, before drywalls were invented, the interior walls of a home or building were usually made by layering it with plaster over wooden strips named laths.

Plaster has been hailed to offer a host of benefits as compared to modern drywalls, because they offer enhanced insulation, soundproofing and fireproofing. Molds also do not grow or harbor in plaster walls, and this walling type should also be of a much higher quality, as it's often hand-applied by a professional artisan. And of course, design experts are saying that plaster walls could be making a fabulous comeback this 2021!
